Privacy Statement and Consent to Use of Data
We, The World of Pictures GmbH, Lindwurmstrasse 113, 80337 Munich (“TWOP”) take your privacy very seriously
and would like to explain what information we collect, and what we do with it. By agreeing to the following
privacy policy, you consent to TWOP the collection, processing and use of your personal data in compliance
with privacy laws and the provisions below.
1. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered by TWOP, in particular those provided via the TWOP-APP,
or the retrievable under the www.theworldofpictures.com website) or the TWOP web app (as “TWOP”). The privacy
policy sets out how we handle your personal data.
2. Collection and Use of Personal Data
We collect and use your information in order to enable the use of our services, and for the purposes for
which you have previously agreed to, including the handling of the licensing of images on TWOP, job applications
and contracts and the sending of newsletters.
We collect, process and use personal information – unless already permitted by law – only with your consent.
If such consent is given as part of our on-site offers, we inform you of such, as required by law, accordingly.
a) Data submitted through registration and the uploading of imagery / license purchase

As part of the initial registration for the services of TWOP we collect the name and email address of
the user. -
Provided that the user first submits imagery to TWOP for licensing rights or acquires a set of images as a
licensee, TWOP will require the user to submit additional payment and address information.
b. Upon request of the licensee, address information will only be disclosed after consultation with the licensor.

System-based transmitted data, including cookies and their use.

are automatically transferred from your computer to us and stored on our server. With the exception of prosecuting

To make your visit to our website as enjoyable as possible, we, like many other companies, also use cookies. After
your visit to our website, these cookies are usually automatically deleted from your hard drive. You can set your
internet browser to reject cookies generally. This may, due to technical reasons, lead to functional limitations of
our service offerings.
d. Extent of use of personal data
We use the personal information to continually expand our service offerings and to meet the needs of our users.
TWOP uses your personal data for the establishment, processing and settlement of your contract. Furthermore, we draw
on your data to communicate with you. These messages as transmitted by us may include information about new products
and services and information about specific events. As part of this release, you are hereby informed that you may
cancel your subscription at any time. Finally, we also use your information to protect our website and to track
unauthorized access.
e. Newsletter
We send out newsletters through our blog based on the so-called double opt-in process. Only if you have previously
confirmed explicitly that we should activate the newsletter service we will send you a notification e-mail and ask you
to confirm by clicking on a link given in an email confirming that you would like to receive our newsletter.
If you later do not want to receive any newsletters from us, you can cancel your subscription at any time This can
be done through a notice in writing (email, letter, fax) to our address as stated in our contact information, without
any costs other than the cost of transmission at basic rates. Of course, you can also find an unsubscribe link in the
newsletter.
3. Transfer of personal data
TWOP transmits your personal data only to the following extent: We work with vendors who create and compile the
statistics, as well as with providers of IT services (such as data centers, providers of hosting, backup and database
services). These technical service providers only have access to your data to the extent of which is necessary for the
performance of their duties. The technical service providers are required to treat your information in accordance with
this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
4. Web analytics tools (Google Analytics)
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics
uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer, to analyze the use of the website. The information
generated by the cookie about your use of this site are usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored
there. In the case of activation of the IP anonymization on this website, your IP address from Google will be truncated
within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to
transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA where it will be
shortened. On behalf of the site owner Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, compiling
reports on website activity and providing other internet related services for the website owner. The IP address submitted
from your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You may

5. Deletion of data
If your data is no longer needed for the purposes described above or any other legal reasons, it will be deleted.

The supplied data will be processed by us in accordance with the German Data Protection Act. All employees are
required to maintain data confidentiality and to comply with data protection regulations and were instructed
accordingly. Please note that any third party websites linked to our services through accessible links are
subject to, among other circumstances, a different Privacy Policy.
7. Questions
You can always obtain information about the data you have stored with us. You have the right to correct, delete
and block (incorrect) data. Please correct your contact details within your registration data user profile. The
deletion of data can, however, oppose legal requirements, in particular for the implementation of accounting and
